Review iPhone 15 Pro | Experiences after the first month

Hello, I have shared the first look review before, I will publish a post for the first week but nothing has changed in this period. I also wanted to share the evaluation of the iPhone 15 Pro after the first month, when it came to 17.1 and things calmed down a bit.

Today I am in my 4th week, I have spent almost 1 month with the device. The excitement has passed, I started not touching the screen even with dirty hands and it has been dropped a lot. Basically, issues such as grip, interface and performance have not changed much anyway and we talked about these in the previous title. Let's get into the practical part of the subject a little more today;

1 - Past Problems: The 15 series turned out to be a bit problematic, although not much, it is known that they make it seem like that, because after a while, unfounded Asian-based Tweets started to be served after the main news. Well, it is not unusual for these to happen when all the alternatives like Oppo - Samsung - Xiaomi are preparing to launch their phones. You just need to be careful which news you trust.

I don't play games much. I was just playing War Thunder Mobile. I played it for the first time in version 17.0.2 and there was no overheating problem on the device. Then I played it in version 17.0.3 and I still didn't notice any changes. I had already deleted the game when 17.1 came out. (After a point where it was impossible to progress due to the game crashing.) However, when I stopped playing the game, I started spending a lot of time outside and since my computers were at home, I had to use TeamViewer under the sun for long periods of time connected to 5G. As is known, although every phone gives good values in Wi-Fi mode, its real performance comes out when cellular data is active. The iPhone 15 Pro performs better than its predecessors when cellular data is active, but it is still a dream to use a single battery all day between 6 am and 9 pm. The point I pay attention to at this point is the legendary(!) temperatures. I was expecting the battery to melt and heat up like every phone that uses the network intensively in full brightness in the sun, but this did not happen. The phone did not heat up as much as it did while playing War Thunder, the Australian sun is scorching. It really surprised me. If I had an IP11 device, I would have lost 30 charge points, but with the effect of the efficiency chips, the 15 Pro decreases as it should be, and the temperature is always at the nominal level. Due to the capacity of the battery, its charge runs out after 7-8 hours of active use and only lasts until the end of the day with intensive use. There is no problem for those who work or go to school with normal use rather than intensive use. Time seems to stop when the phone is in your pocket. When I leave home with a 40% charge, I don't panic about whether I will return in 4-5 hours. I can also open navigation when I get home.

Now there is another issue here. The iOS 17.1 update was mostly beneficial for the phone's standby mode. We talked about this before the phone was released. The 17 Pro's efficiency cores are very strong, but its post-launch performance does not reflect this. It started to give the values it should have with 17.1. It would be right to say that the phone does not use its battery when left in your pocket or when it is on standby overnight. Very good. How good is it? This is good;

As seen in SS recently, I didn't use the phone much during the day between 12 and 9 pm. The device waited during this time. If I didn't turn on the screen from time to time and look around, the battery wouldn't work. After 5 hours, the remaining battery was 43%. Probably not even 9 hours at this pace. But you see my usage. There is nothing except Safari - YouTube and Facebook. Pay extra attention to this issue. If you say you're going to play Genshin, you get a total of 4 hours of screen time with the Performance cores active with the 15 Pro. It has increased a little with the new updates, but these values still don't jump too much. Let me also state this.

Version 17.0.3 was problematic, my camera crashed a few times. It didn't fix itself even though I closed and reopened the application, but then the interface's animation errors and camera problems were completely fixed with the updates. I can say that this is the first time the 15 Pro has worked so stably, I've said this before. It's not right to evaluate this phone in its current state because it needs at least one major update.

2 - Durability: I usually throw my phone into bed after coming home from work or school. It has always been like this. Except for the Nokia Lumia 520, I have never broken a phone for this reason. The 15 Pro did not break in the same way. Sometimes candies fall on the tiles, sometimes ZIPs hit the parquet. Since the case is also sturdy, there is no problem in this regard,

3- Migration from Other Devices: This point is a bit more personal. You may or may not agree, but the 15 Pro does not have enough innovation to directly replace the previous generation, but the S23 does not. The S24 will not. The OnePlus and Xiaomi models do not have it in the same way. They do not and should not have it. Because technology does not develop this much in a year. Companies release it piece by piece, especially in the hardware area, as it develops. At this point, I am okay with upgrades up to IP12, but I do not think that changing phones every year is a logical purchase.

Should I buy it? Or should I not buy it? It is a great device and you will use it for a long time. Will I regret it? No. Like every iPhone model, the same as all of them, a little better than all of them. It does everything you need, you will use it longer than other brands. Especially with this chip, you will use it even longer. Do not believe the rumors, there are no problems such as heating, burning, beeping. Every product can be faulty, I am not a guarantor of all of them, but this is what happened to me. Is the S24 expected? They are very good at chips and they will also make titanium cases. So it can be expected. Who can wait? Windows users can wait. If you have an ecosystem like mine, if you are using a MacBook, Apple does not leave you many options like every other technology giant. You still need to continue within the limits to maintain productivity. It goes without saying that Apple is the most successful company in terms of ecosystem, so it would be better to continue with Apple phones. ^^

It was shorter than other reviews, but the problems mentioned in the first look tests are already discussed in the long usage tests. I did not want to bother you by repeating it. In short, I am happy with the money I paid. Good luck to those who will buy. ^^
